ALASCA Travel Grant 2026.
Experience the ALASCA Summit 2026 with the ALASCA Travel Grant – we’ll bring you to Dresden!
We are delighted to be able to enable up to four students to attend the ALASCA Summit 2026 in Dresden through our travel grant programme. The selected participants will receive support towards their travel and accommodation costs. Selection will be made by ALASCA and is subject to the availability of funding.
This gives you the opportunity to experience the Summit in person, connect with the community, and gain new contacts and insights into open and sovereign cloud infrastructures.
Who can apply?
Students from universities, colleges, and other higher education institutions who are interested in open-source technologies and eager to learn, engage, and connect with the community.
What does the Travel Grant cover?
Arrival and departure
The costs of travel by plane, train, bus or other forms of public transport will be covered by ALASCA. ALASCA will book the journey.
Accommodation
ALASCA will take care of the booking and cover the cost of accommodation.

All applications will be carefully reviewed. Selected students will be contacted directly on October 6, 2026, and will receive further information on the next steps.

The award of the travel grant is subject to the availability of funding. Under the travel grant programme, up to four students will be selected to attend the ALASCA Summit 2026 in Dresden. The actual number may vary depending on the travel costs incurred.
