Dr. Kai Martius has been Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of secunet since 2015.
Before he joined secunet in 1999, he studied electrical engineering at Dresden University of Technology, and made his doctorate in the field of Internet security protocols there. After various positions in development of secunet core products, between 2007 and 2015 he headed the Division High Security / Public Sector. Dr Martius played a decisive role in the development of SINA and has moreover extensive experience in conception, implementation and application of security products in the public sector environment. Recently the influence of new technologies like SDN / NFV and Cloud technologies on secunet’s product strategy came into focus of the technology strategy he is responsible for in his role as CTO. Since June 2019 he has been a Member of the Board of Management of secunet.
