Dr. Daniel Gerber holds a Ph.D. in computer science. As CTO at Targomo GmbH, he was responsible for global IT services before being elected to the Saxon State Parliament in 2019, where he championed digital sovereignty. Since 2025, he has continued his commitment to free software as deputy managing director of the Open Source Business Alliance and at ALASCA, where he serves on the board since 2026.
