Jonas Schäfer has been involved in the development and operation of CLOUD&HEAT’s cloud infrastructures since 2018 and took on the role of CTO for the company’s Cloud business unit in April 2026. In addition to the usual challenges of infrastructure operations, his work encompasses open-source projects. In 2020, he was part of the founding team behind the YAOOK project – a Kubernetes-based lifecycle management solution for OpenStack – which subsequently led to the establishment of the ALASCA association.
