Philipp Reisner is a co-founder and CEO of LINBIT in Vienna, Austria. His career has been shaped by the development of DRBD, a storage replication solution for Linux. Alongside his leadership role at LINBIT, he still enjoys writing kernel code. When he isn’t in front of a monitor and keyboard, he goes climbing and sails the sea with his family.
LINBIT was founded in Austria in 2001 as a Linux system integrator. A first strategic shift transformed the company into a global support provider for high-availability failover clusters on Linux. A second strategic shift transformed it into a software-defined block storage vendor.
