The cloud’s edge

Most clouds need connection to the Internet to provide their services. There are various ways to achieve this and we will look with a network engineer’s perspective how to implement high availability and multi-homing.

We will discuss how to deploy edge routers and firewalls to connect cloud setups. Our Linux-based design will use components from the RouterKit project to build an converged cloud edge.
