ALASCA is hiring!

Thanks to a grant from the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport (SMWA), provided by the Saxon Development Bank, our association has the opportunity to continuously advance its software developments in the coming months.

About the project

The project titled "Open Source Software and Standards for the Cloud - Development, Piloting, and Dissemination in the Saxon Ecosystem" pursues several objectives:

  1. Development work: Carrying out development work on open-source projects hosted by the association, as well as on the standards of the Sovereign Cloud Stack.
  2. Practical testing: Testing of the resulting technology stack in collaboration with cloud providers, users, and public institutions in Saxony.
  3. Documentation and training: Creation of user-friendly documentation, guides, and best practices to support the use of technology.

Project duration

The project can start in November 2024 and is expected to end in July 2026. An extension of this period is possible, but not guaranteed at this time.

Full-time communication and documentation specialist for cloud software development project

As a specialist in communication and documentation, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of the documentation. You support the team in creating user-friendly guides and take responsibility for the dissemination and communication activities of the project.

Full-time project manager for cloud software development project

As a project manager, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the technical and non-technical tasks carried out in the project.

Full-time software developer for cloud software development project

As a software developer, you are responsible for carrying out the technical work in the project, particularly the development of ALASCA's open-source projects, the SCS standards, as well as the piloting and validation activities.
