The Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS) can offer far more than just virtual machines and Kubernetes: it can serve as the foundation for a fully sovereign Linux workplace.
This session demonstrates how central services such as Keycloak, LDAP, OpenBao, PostgreSQL, OpenVPN and a user portal can be deployed and operated automatically on SCS and combined to form an integrated workplace platform.
Building on this foundation, we will demonstrate how Linux desktops can be delivered as VDI from SCS-based infrastructure. Foreman integrates infrastructure automation, lifecycle management, provisioning and desktop deployment into a unified workflow.
The session focuses on the architecture, automation and practical operational aspects of an open and sovereign workplace platform — from identity and secrets management to secure connectivity and virtual desktops.
