uView is a modern and modular user interface for OpenStack environments, designed to provide a clear and consistent user experience.
Unlike traditional web interfaces that closely follow existing command-line structures, uView focuses on intuitive workflows, clear navigation and a context-driven presentation of functionality. This approach is designed to make OpenStack more accessible, particularly for newcomers.
Visual representations of topology and small interactive elements help to make processes more tangible and assist users in understanding the underlying cloud infrastructure.
The aim is to provide a clear overview of common tasks relating to provisioning, management and monitoring, whilst offering an easy starting point for both new and experienced users.
In this talk, we will provide an insight into the current situation, the motivation behind uView, and the direction in which the interface is intended to evolve in the future.
