During my professional work, I have examined the technology, processes and mindset behind cloud computing in depth and found that there is a lack of open, sustainable thinking and action – yet there is so much potential to provide the foundation for digital sovereignty, to foster competence and collaboration in the realm of IT and AI, to save energy, reduce waste heat, implement sustainable processes and foster an innovative and forward-thinking mindset.

I am now an open-source evangelist and aim to build a strong, open community and a partner network of open-source enthusiasts and sustainable digital organisations, companies, communities, initiatives and foundations – to unlock the full potential of sustainable digitalisation. This is a global perspective, so I am proud to work with ITU and GIZ on DPI projects and digital, sustainable transformation.
