Operability is crucial for advancing digital sovereignty. To ensure that all projects are able to make substantial contributions to this, ALASCA has established specific requirements that support our projects‘ progress and long-term usability.
At ALASCA, we classify our projects into two categories, each reflecting its level of maturity:

The project stage is based on various criteria, such as the status of the documentation or project governance.

No. The transfer of your project to ALASCA is free of charge.
In principle, no – but it is advisable to become a part of ALASCA and take part in the association‘s activities. We offer memberships for both natural and legal persons.
When the application and acceptance process is finalized, the project officially belongs to ALASCA and it should also be communicated as such. You will receive guidelines to help you with this.
Yes. Despite the transfer, the original roles within the project – and therefore also the responsibility for the roadmap – remain in place. Our Technical Steering Committee will however check the project‘s status and progress from time to time.
