ALASCA Summit 2026.
Impressions of the ALASCA Summit 2025
Save the Date: 3 - 4 November 2026
Dear ALASCA community,
In November 2025, we once again organised a great community event. Under the motto „Not from Alaska. From Europe. Built for Europe's Cloud Future“, around 200 guests came together at the Hygiene Museum Dresden to discuss open source cloud technologies and digital sovereignty. Highlights included inspiring keynotes, hands-on workshops, panel discussions and networking with the community. After 2 very successful events in the past 2 years, our ALASCA Summit is now entering its 3rd round. On November 3rd and 4th 2026 we will come together at the Mighty Twice Hotel in Dresden Neustadt.
Our motto this year – With C – as in Community. Breaking down technical silos united for a digitally sovereign Europe. – sums up our ambitions as ALASCA (with C 😉) in a nutshell. On the way to a digitally sovereign Europe, we want real collaboration – across national borders, organisations and technical boundaries. With this in mind, we are delighted to be able to integrate a meet-up for the OpenInfra Foundation community at this year's summit. In order to learn more from each other technically, there will be a parallel OpenInfra track in the afternoon of the first Summit day, where the OpenInfra community can share their knowledge.
Join us in shaping Europe's digital future – independent, secure and sovereign! The ALASCA Summit 2026 offers space for new ideas and solutions that pave the way for Europe's digital independence.
