ALASCA Summit – Call for Contributions.

What we are looking for

Are you interested in submitting a talk or workshop and actively shaping the ALASCA Summit 2026? Then take part in our Call for Contribution.

Would you like to introduce a new project, present a use case or share „lessons learnt“ with the community? We are looking for a variety of technical submissions in the area of open source cloud infrastructure and look forward to many different topics.

You can submit the following formats for this year's ALASCA Summit:

  • Lightning Talk (10 minutes)
  • Talk (20 minutes)
  • Workshop (3 hours): When submitting a workshop, we kindly ask you to include information regarding hardware, software and skill requirements in the abstract.

In the spirit of collaboration across organisational boundaries, we are delighted to be able to offer the community of the OpenInfra Foundation a track on day 1 of this year's ALASCA Summit and cordially invite the OpenInfra community to submit their contributions here as well.

As in previous years, the official event language at the ALASCA Summit as well as the presented content will be in English. Please also submit your contribution in English.

The Call for Contribution is open until 31.05.2026 In the following weeks, an evaluation and selection of all submitted contributions will be carried out and we will then inform you about the decision to include your submission in our programme for the ALASCA Summit 2026.

The contributions that will be presented at our ALASCA Summit are recorded and subsequently made publicly available on the ALASCA YouTube channel and the ALASCA website. In addition, we are currently evaluating the option of streaming. By submitting a contribution, you agree to the recording, publication and streaming.

*With your submission, you are initially registering for a format under reserve; the final allocation and decision on acceptance is then the responsibility of ALASCA.
