Provisioning and Managing your VyOS NFV with Kubernetes

VyOS is an open-source, community-driven fully functional router and firewall platform widely used in cloud deployments. This Tech-Talk will start by giving a brief overview of VyOS and its functionalities. The main part of the talk will focus on the topic of provisioning VyOS with Kubernetes. Suppose you have several VyOS VMs that provide different services for internal teams or external services. In this case, you want an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) way to manage VyOS VM instances. Kubernetes offers a good approach to address this need and serves as a platform for IaC. We will show how we provision VyOS in Kubernetes and use ConfigMap to achieve this goal.
